Talks/workshops can also be individually designed to fit with your current themes or curriculum requirements.

I will always try to adapt my visit to fit the particular needs of your school and can provide a mix of creative writing workshops, readings, talks, question and answer sessions or in-depth discussions of one of my books.

I am flexible; I can work with large groups – talk to a whole year or entire school, or do workshops with smaller groups. I can fill a whole day, or part of a day. Whatever suits your school.

For Adults

I am happy to talk to groups of adults, too!

Teachers:

A creative writing workshop could make a really enjoyable inset day.

Parents:

Maybe parents would be interested in a talk on encouraging their children to enjoy books and creative writing.

Reading groups/Creative writing groups:

Wide range of talks and workshops available including:

  • Plotting your novel
  • Creating Characters
  • Getting published
  • Writing short stories
  • Writing your autobiography
  • Writing for Children

Excellent session – very interesting and well worth attending.
